Working Parents of the Year
While there are many working parents within our organization we could choose from, we were asked to nominate two “Working Parents of the Year” for the 100 Best Companies recognition. After special consideration, Rajna Kecojevic and Clay Dent were selected to attend the Award Gala in New York City.
Rajna Kecojevic, Director of Acquisition Enablement for US Operations, navigates being mom to 5-year-old Filip and taking care of her mother. Well known for her leadership managing the Unum Group Working Parent group, Rajna is an advocate for working parents.
“When an employer understands, respects, and supports what we value the most, we are intrinsically motivated to stay with that employer and give our best each day,” says Kecojevic, who’s been with Unum for 12 years.
Clay Dent, a Senior Talent Acquisition Consultant, is a well-known face in Chattanooga as a dedicated foster parent and champion in the community.
“My wife and I began our fostering journey four years ago with a passion to provide a safe and nurturing environment for children in need,” Dent said. “We hope to provide a permanent, loving home through adoption in the future. One of the biggest reasons I chose Unum was the family benefits and work-life balance.”
Dent volunteers for Chambliss Center for Children, The Community Kitchen, the Urban League, and the YMCA of Metro Chattanooga’s Y-CAP program.
